Always look for ways to learn
I’m Christopher. I started at Halsey Schools when I was a baby in 2000 and I graduated with the Busy Bees in 2005. I will always remember my teachers at Halsey Schools. And I thank them for helping me achieve in preschool and beyond. I learned from them that life is never boring if you always look for ways to learn. Ms. Darrah & Ms. Jeri always encouraged and supported me and made me feel good about my accomplishments. They still do!
I’m in middle school now. Last year, I was selected to be a member of the National Junior Honors Society based on my Scholarship, Leadership, Service, Character, and Citizenship. I’m proud to be a member and make sure I continue to meet and exceed every requirement. All my classes are advanced honors but algebra is my favorite. I can solve the Rubik’s cube!
I love to ride my bike, go on hikes and take trips with my family! I also enjoy volunteering. I volunteer at local schools and other events in our community. Last month I volunteered at the Warner Center Kiwanis club at their Annual Horse show. I also volunteer at Halsey Schools and my brother’s elementary school. It’s fun to help other people.
When at the preschool, I loved building with the blocks, Duplos and Legos. I still love Legos. But now I build the sets and make [video_lightbox_youtube video_id=63eCXIcNkhE width=640 height=480 anchor=’stop motion movies’] with them. It’s a lot of fun because I get to be creative and use my math skills. I will always remember Halsey Schools and I am thankful I was given such a head start for school. I really do love to learn!
