STARDREAMS School of Dance (only $50/month) will teach your child the fun of dance and movement at Halsey Schools Preschool. Children ages 3-6 learn body awareness, control, timing, coordination and the language of movement through a variety of dance, music, mime, and gymnastic activities. Through self expression, control, timing, coordination and concentration your child will become more confident and self assured. Every year in June the children put on a full dance show for you to see what they’ve learned. (Stardreams has been teaching at Halsey Schools since 1987.)

Only $50/Month – Tuesdays at 10:15. Please download Stardreams Dance Registration or pick one up near the sign in and out sheets. Billing comes directly from Stardreams. You will not be billed on your Halsey Schools Statements.  You can contact Stardreams directly at 562-595-6676 | Stardreams.biz

From Stardreams Website:

STARDREAMS lays a foundation of mental and physical strength that will someday touch the sky. Children step eagerly into the world of dance and gymnastics. They are at an age where their minds are open and ready to learn. The early years of a child’s development are the most important. They learn quickly and develop skills easily. They are unaware of limitations and the fear of failure. They are ripe for learning. In the classroom with their peers, they experience total freedom of movement. It’s a chance for them to burn off excess energy.

STARDREAMS creates an atmosphere of learning while having fun through it’s classes, newsletter and performance. We teach the child to communicate with the body. They develop their own creativity by learning another way to express themselves. In your child we seek both the performer and composer, the interpreter and creator. Students will explore body parts through isolations, stretches, bends, twists, swings, and sways. They will turn their favorite activities, such as running, leaping, hopping, skipping, and sliding into expression and entertainment.

STARDREAMS was formed in Los Angeles in 1987 under the direction of Carol Symington. She has been working with children since 1975. She earned a teaching credential and Bachelor of Science degree from North Texas State University. She also received a Masters of Fine Arts in Dance Education and Choreography from UCLA. As a dancer and choreographer Carol produces and directs her own works with other dancers in the Los Angeles Community.
