Happy Times April 2015

Let’s find some Eggs! Spring time is here!

Can a cow be ridden? How does a cow’s milk get into the cartons at the store? How many teeth do horses have? Do you know how to sheer a sheep? Why do goats have beards? Why do pigs love to get so dirty? We’ll be learning about farm animals this April and it is going to be FUN! 🙂

We will be reading these books:

You can read them at home too. Please remember to read with your children every night. Click the book to learn more & buy from Amazon.

Wear Sunscreen Everyday: It’s Sunscreen Time! If you’ve stopped applying daily sunscreen, it’s time to get back into the swing of things. Children (10 months- 6yrs)  should come to school wearing an SPF 30 or more on all exposed areas of the skin. We also recommend wearing a hat. Extra sunscreen should be kept at school as well. We will be having a lot of outdoor fun!  (Always consult your child’s physician.)

Spring Change of Clothes: Please make sure your child has at least one complete set of extra spring clothes & shoes. Don’t forget to label everything.

Crib sheet & Blankets: If you have any extra crib sheets and blankets we can use them for families that forget to bring their’s. Just drop them off in the office or your child’s classroom.
